Minor Update

Hey gang, Kev here.

Well for the first time in 11 or 12 years I have zero posts scheduled to go out. I usually have 2-3 months worth. Instead I have 71 drafts, and a folder on my PC full of increment bits that need posting.

As many of you know I’m advocate for ‘allocating and making the time’ for the things you are passionate about. Rather than whine – we should just #rolldice right!?

Well life is also about balancing priorities. At the moment with my work we have a somewhat tense situation involving lawyers – always fun. The good news is that we received part of the settlement yesterday. While all that is going on, a key employee up and quit and left us locked out of key systems. Doah.

Yesterday we signed the final contracts on selling our house privately. We also rented a new place last Sunday and bought a block of land the Saturday prior…My wife got those things a bit out of order if you ask me 🙂

Intense.

We have until Oct 10th to move so that wont be a drama [I hope] and I suspect that things will calm down. Suffice to say with the personal dump here is that my competing priorities take precedence over the fun I have learning about history, game systems and chucking dice.

In the next week I’ll be wrapping up Bug River, it has to go away  for now so expect 1 video about that. From there I shall use my down time to do a bit of writing if I have the energy and a slice of time.

The point of this post is to say – You may not see much for a while on the various outlets I post to. Next major update will be post move. In the meantime, I am going to sort out the why and how for Scott for posting images, as something is blocking his efforts.

All the Best

#rolldice

  1. hi Kev – good luck with everything, look forward to next posts, when you can , best, Matt

  2. Take the time you need, Kev, and sort out your temporarily tumultuous life (which included a bout with Covid, remember?). We’ll be here waiting when you return!!!

  3. Real Life TM trumps our hobbies. Take care of yourself and your family. Moving is indeed one of the top stresses in our lives, so best wishes and support.

    Thanks for all you do.
    Cheers Max

  4. You are a big part of the hobby and have been for a long time. We will be right here waiting on your return. In the meantime, I will attempt to somewhat fill in the void with my rantings and gameplay…after my weeklong sabbatical at the beach.
