I picked up NW:K 2nd edition in Feb and only just opened it as I was assessing playing the new  GMT Games Next War Supplement #2 and using NW:K as my platform.

I was impressed with the subtle upgrades done to Korea.

All of the charts and tables are now on thicker stock. They have a really excellent matt kind of finish to them. The rulebook is full color and also on matt paper, as is the playbook.

The maps have some sort of texture to them….that or its special Wuhan dust. I dunno.

The counters are the usual great quality on the thicker side and really well done also.

I do not plan on doing a shrink rip unless there is a roaring desire for one for those that have never seen inside the box & lid.
