There were three games I had my eye on – Wars of Marcus Aurelius, had to have it for the DUDE, the box art and the game potential! A first time revised design by Robert DeLeskie.

The John Theissen design Campaign of Nations about the Leipzig campaign, with IIlya’s subtle and fantastic map work.

The 3rd volume of H&M ! I had to skip #2 [common sense and budget…RIGHT!] but #3 looked like a winner. That combined with the canvas map will be evocative as we examine the Seven Years War!! This is the thinking mans C&C for the musket & pike era.

Finally a semi collapsible (I think,) die tower 😉
