In essence – A sentient AI, had to battle Scientists, boffins and Politicians to secure mankind’s future. – He chose the Soldiers.
For their sacrifice, their brotherhood and their selflessness. While it is the Anniversary of the Marines, I think this book moved me to say in a heartfelt way, thank you to all services of all nations, as I contemplate the difference between them, and us.
Our petty differences, greed, our selfish natures are shameful, we can be better.
Something about military service brings about the best in men and women is dire straits.
