Roman Census

Were the #Hannibalic Wars the single greatest lost of life as a percentage of population? The #RomanEmpire took nearly 30% loss to population. I dont see any plague losses here?

  1. Do you mean exclusively for Roman Empire, or anytime throughout history? If the latter, check out the impact that the Mongols had on some of the places they invaded.

  2. Pretty sure Germany in WWII lost at least 30% – especially if you count the split into West / East.
