CFS Turn 2 Phase 1 Soviets

Central Front Day 1 PM turn. BAOR/FIFTH/HOF Gap

A given turn proceeds on rounds of action until both side pass.

These are conducted in Phases. After the first phase the next and subsequent phases are more expensive to move in. Each hex or attack costs more to conduct in terms of Mps or Operations points.

Each phase you move or combat you accrue a Friction Point (FP). A Soviet Regiment accrues 1 FP per move and combat. Each regiment has just 5 FP’s, on your 6th FP you are eliminated.

Lets look at turn 2 after the first Soviet Phase.  They found some clear roads on some maps and barreled away. However this may cause them supply problems in the future (no FP recovery). In the North:
