So the jury for me on this system is still out, our campaign resumes Setp 7th of Montelimar, which is going well, so I am cautiously optimistic.
My primary opponent is now a fan especially at this scale – 2 maps, which I agree makes for ‘just right’ even three would be ok.  More titles at that number of maps would be very interesting versus 5-7 map monsters.

There are a lot of counters in this ONE!! – 7.5 counter sheets…This might be a cost driver , but its probably low volume versus anything else, is driving up the cost I think.
The cost you ask – ??? $99.00 pre order. Ouch.
Now counters are 5/8ths inch and the rule books are in color. As are the scenario booklets, so the quality is high, and we must accept paying a price for that.

There will be significant new rules here too, to cater to the vagaries and uniqueness of the Eastern Front.
