The Germans pummel the line!

Soviets reel. But don’t break.

Soviet Turn

General retreat, and a re org around Voronezh. Setting up ZOC bonds and some reserves.

Turn 7 –

The first assault across the river fails as the determined defence holds and inflicts a loss.

In the South defense hold also.

But it is the center the Soviets must worry about. The Axis forces can go East, South or even North – East. Too many choices and not enough units to block all the choices. Its looking mighty thin.

The Soviets have allowed too many unit eliminations. They really need to start rebuilding units. They need to trade space for time.

Rostov is the sole light of the battle so far!
