North Africa June/July 1941
We are reeling from the random event from the last session.
The Allies are thin on the ground and need to hold on until July/ August.
We hunker down, realizing we cannot break out of Tobruk, and cannot reinforce it.
We execute a limited activation to remove a key DG near Halfway House.
Then pass and hope the Germans also pass.
July comes around and I’ll cut to the chase. The commonwealth win initiative! This means we can force an Admin turn.
With supplies into Tobruk they will not suffer, we take on a huge load of units – mainly Infantry from South African and India.
Then use Admin move to get them to the front.
This also force the Axis to do likewise. They do manage to push a lot of supply up. Ideally I need one more month of supply, but it might be worth attempting to punish a few German units if I can get decent odds. OR we can sit back and await their cautious attack.
At some point I need to relive Tobruk. I have too many units trapped in there and I need to release them or let them die and slowly rebuild them. There is no transporting out.
Good tactical problems to have.
