A brief summary of the action.

Full, limited, and Admin activations. As I’m about to start I re assess locations for supply dumps to be as the rules filter into actual usage now.

DEC 40

1 Full activation enables Gott, Campbell and O’Connor to go. Most of the Italians are placed OOS, and their DGs remain for now. Italians respond with a Full activation and merely use that to screen and protect Tobruk. Their barrages fail. CW forces then use and admin activation [optional rule] to push units to front line.

JAN 41

Both sides conduct admin phase.

Then CW executes a full activation Gott & 7^th attack East of bir Gibni on road to Sollum. The Aussie 5^th fails to achieve much.

Italians pass.

CW goes limited activation and the 7^th press on to Bardia and envelope the It.

It respond with Ariete, 3^rd Med and 61^st Brs attack upon the 2^nd Hussar and 2^nd Rifle, They achieve an elimination due to lack of retreat options. Clearly too overextended.

This prompts the CW to spend a full activation to reconnect forces! Gott is killed leading 2RTR against the It para forces, A1D1. Ouch. Campbell punches through the It Marm Div and O’Connor likewise attacks but suffers an adverse result A1 with 7RTR @ Sollum. In the exploit phase units shuffle around and the end turn phase sees the Italians units surrender that were isolated.
