The Battle of Paraetacene 317 B.C.

Eumenes Elephants and Skirmishers advance upon Antigonus’s center. The aggressive move pays some dividends but as we shall see Elephants often have their own ideas about what direction is forward!

Many of the EL units rampage, causing havoc to both sides. In the mean time the flanks of both armies begin to position for cavalry charges.

Despite accruing damage and having their lines rumpled! The Phalanxes hold firm.

Antigonus sends cav into the rear of the Elephants.

By the end of two turns. Both sides have closed range. Stay tuned for a battle of the shield walls and sarissa!
