Here the Light Infantry are set back too far in my opinion. Perhaps Sertorius should have waited on closing until they were more of a use.

The dice are ugly here. 2 poor attacks one good one and one average one (5)
Rome responds and has equally poor rolls. This really hurts as sides are so evenly matched in these Civil War conflicts due to arms and tactics.

Whilst Sertorius boldly leads from the front, his men look on, and fight on, despite losses they see him rout another unit from the field.
The Roman Allied Gauls arrive to do damage too little too late.
