We continue from Part 1 & Part 2.
Eumenes left flank forms up and prepares to attack the disorganized Phalanxes. Who are scrambling to re orient. While in the center the Macedonian Phalanx, either complete crush the wavering Greeks or the Greeks surrender to Craterus.
One after the other the Eumenid forces either surrender or die to Craterus. Most are unwilling to fight Alexnaders favoured general and the one who led their brothers home replete with treasure.
The Noble Craterus, clears the center of the field effectively.
The flank attack goes in. The mean here all surrender to the noble Craterus!!
Not satisfied, the soldiers press their advantage!
Craterus’s right girds it self for the flank attacks and rear attacks. Pharnabazues however take s amoment to recover cohesion, knowing that Cav especially light cav even at the rear of Phalanx is a risky propostion.
Losses for both sides mount
The gap widens and Eumenes is in real trouble
The rout of the center is complete and the two flanks are holding , but just!
that Eumenes realizes he cannot win. Being the wily bastard that he is he decides discretion is the better part of valour today and leaves for the mountains.
