Our game play pace picks up and we are now able to do 2-3 turns in a live session. As we pick up play in the 2nd turn in Oct we can see the Germans looking at a 3 pronged advance.
There are of course pluss’s and minus’s to all of that, from a supply stand point and dilution of force aspect.
As the Soviet player, all I am doing is either building hedgehogs or looking to DG stacks that appear to be ready to execute an attack of note. We DG with Air the central attack effort. On the Grozny front he is still advancing towards that area, so we stick out a low quality unit to slow things downs.
The Germans are now penetrating deeply. BUT with the rail line and road cut this makes supply a challenge for them.
They quickly bounce away to a safer locale.
