DAK II Nov 29th

The last turn in November sees The over extended Commonwealth South Africans placed in a spot of bother. Rather than retreat the Germans and Axis attack!

They DG, and drop a step from Allies but with a result forcing them to take an option their retreat opens a safe passage for the defenders.

Meanwhile the Indian, NZ and South African combine to crack on Hafid ridge and they displace the Italians still in place there.

While an expensive attack this is well worth it!

The Italian’s retreat and the Exploit allows for some line adjustments. You may note the gap in the lines, near Bir Saleh…. I’ve been taunting the Axis to attack My HQ is secure with a solid supporting unit underneath. But he was not taken the bait!. I think we will await further forces and attempt to isolate the Bardia area and pocket them.. Im spread a bit thing as is he, But my replacement rate is much higher, so the Allies need to take advantage of attritional warfare. I’m also slowly sliding in a Brigade or uit every other turn into Tobruk, as he has NOT begun bombarding the port yet.
