The Allies build up strength and allow the Axis to close in on Bardia. I have a strong defense there and am playing cat and mouse with reserve actions in Tobruk. Attempt to guess where he will try and attack and pre emptive DG forces. Expensive but hey… its working so far.

You cant help bad luck, but you can decide not to attack if things are not going your way. The Germans persist in attacking towards Bardia but with a good Reserve reaction, and a lucky surprise roll for the Allies, the Germans lose 2 steps!

These moves work, and forces a pull back and a scramble to drop air supplies in. WE have broken the momentum.

Significant repl rolls allow some good rebuilds for the CW player. The Germans are on the back foot with a heavy push ‘an early Crusader’ which has cut off German and Italian forces.

The CW goes hell for leather and spends supply to feed the men! And fight!

We notes some errors in play and I think that we might want to consider adjusting our situation a bit. But we agree to carry on with August and see what happens.
