Um. I think I love this idea!
These maps are nearly twice as big! thick map board paper and they really change to feel of the game play.
It feels in some weird way sort of more to scale… The squads dont take up the entire hex, and as you can see there is even room for units side by side. Removing that stacking clutter.
Rome to move!
Yeah…. but they’re not mounted… how do you match them with existing map boards?

They are going to offer a pack to purchase. I also have the FHII maps. Look superb.
I’ve been printing my own large scale maps from the VASSAL files so I don’t need to buy them. Anyone can do that… for free…

Mr. Cranky pants.
That reminds me of Anzio/Cassino and Mercury/Market Garden by Worthington. I love big hexes. Big hexes make old grog happy.
At this tactical level its really nice!
I guess I have to go against the flow —- I like the small hexes. What can I say — I don’t like change.
Is this a new release from the revamped LnL?
Yes. Test versions.
Excellent. I initially passed o. This game because you needed other games in the series to play it. If they make it a stand alone version it’ll definitely buy it.
Heroes of the Pacfic is stand alone. RoH when re printed will be stand alone also. In fact I believe the goal is to make all modules for all systems stand alone.
