PPCLI=Princess Patricia’s Can Light Inf.
RCD = Royal Can Dragoon
Papa 2.7. Map 27, village.
While only T-55;s these AFV use a ATGM with amazing penetration rate but can be unreliable.
They hear the rumble of BTR’s and Tank engines before they see them.
Nearly a dozen BTR-70’s and almost as many tanks. Closer inspection reveals that indeed all of the T-55’s have been upgrade to M class. With Stabber ATGM”s.
Then the whine of turbines in the air presages another even more deadly threat.
Where will the Soviets focus their attack?
What devilry doth the turbine whine divine??
good to see that you have the excellent “first class ” handbook to help the defence – I expect the Canadians to deliver!
Lets hope so!
As soon as I saw the Maple Leaf in your blogpic I thought of the Macksey title – brilliant book which I bought in 85. The time feels closer than it has done for a long while!
