This continues from BCS 20^th 2.1 post.

The General in charge of Savona Divisions forces, had pre sight and pre plotted his precious 88mm that were unfortunately commanded by the Germans and not his men. However when he gave the order the fire they were extremely effective

The Sth Africans come onto the map! They head towards the 22^nd Armoured in order to support them.

Wechmar moves to screen 21^st Panzer. Will 4^th Arm get distracted from their mission.

The 8^th Hussars, push off Wechmar and the rest of the units move up the road towards Sidi Azeiz. Using both activations to do so.

Further South East Bach activations his tiny force holding the pass with 88mm, and some tired men.

After the pounding received by the Indians, the 1/6 Rajputana and 1/5 Mahratta Light are beaten to a pulp. They leave the field in tatters. Bach’s men re take the pass. Air and the 88mm demolish the forces capability to fight.

The die rolls…ahem….

The SPT formation activates, and attempts to extricate itself from the grips of 21^st Panzer. They attack and force full retreats and step losses on 21^st , but not before isolation effects knock 3 steps off them in total. >

The 2^nd activation allows Spt to limp away.

They did a great job here without support to fight their way clear. Bloodied but in every sense very British!

At this point we make a commitment. It was hoped that 7^th Armoured would demonstrate its intent before the 15^th decided to go. But this was not to be the case. Instead under two partial activations the 15^th race along the road to head off 4^th.

In fact we hope to engage them on the 21^st and give them a bit of a schlacking. .

After 15^th commit the Allies send 7^th in as we thought they might against the soft Italians from the Ariete Division. Who are screening off the Allies from the Tobruk Siege between El Adem and Sidi Regezeh. They are set to attack next turn.

Finally the rush of Kiwis hit the field.

The announced plan of the Allies is to clear a primary road route East of Tobruk, then south through the fortifications. We will see how long that intention holds! On to Turn 3 the 21^st of November.
