Lets continue game play and look at Turn 3
German and Italian units are a few thousand yards from their first objective. The hospital and Kings Cross junction.
During Turn 3 Allies are looking thin, but are pressuring the weaker Italians in the Western flank [left]
The Germans start to fan out, Arty strikes are felt, and the Axis husband air resources for the push into Tobruk. If they can force the Allies West of Kings Cross they can run towards Tobruk proper.
The attack go well and the Brit etal reel back. As the Germans head westward the Italian 132 Bn screen the rear and West.
The Commonwealth respond with massive barrages that will slow down the Germans for a turn! Each facedown stack below has one or more unit suppressed.
Those suppressions don’t come off until the next opposing barrage phase.
Most allies are now out of range of off board arty so it will become increasingly difficult to obtain suppressions or kills on the Commonwealth forces.
