The Germans face a heavy assault from several fronts in the opening moves, with a clear advantage in chits to the Russians in the opening turns.

The Germans must face threats from all along the boarder starting top of map and arcing down to the middle at the map edge. Command ranges for the Russkies are generally lower, and they activate less troops than do the Germans.
The track covers Rail movement, replacements and the last # is the # of chits per turn in the cup. A significant disparity at the outset.
