The Soviets get really lucky and suffer little for ineffective barrages. Whereas the Mig 25 Foxbat units demolish US units and come back for more.

After three turns of milling about (ostensibly to keep the US guessing, in reality because I FUBAR’d) the Soviet bridge layer does its thing, and spans the river.
The Soviets have a shit load of chits and start to dominate near the end game… But then… Ghost team arrives on the US right
At range using excellent fire discipline the US Ghost Team M1’s and Bradleys tear thru an entire regiment of motorized Soviet Infantry….Securing the town on the right is not not an option.
With a string of activations the Ghosts can stop one of the three VC’s but not the far township.
Where a comical race for the town (BMP’s v Infantry) the Soviets claim the town and enjoy gunning down and overrunning the infantry in the open …muhahahha. It was funny..well for one of us…:)
The end map situation below shows the tale of destruction enforced on both sides. A long but pretty epic scenario. The US is hard pressed to slow the Soviet rush, and must balance out scoring kills vs, giving ground for time. A lot of thin skinned vehicles mean the shoot and scoot tactics and extreme range shots have to be well thought out in anticipation of the enemies moves.
