Over the past 2-3 years I have accumulated a nice set of WWIII era titles for games and books. Some of which I have played…many I have not.
In preparation for my next ‘large’ project I am reading this book. Gripping is a good way to describe it. I think it juxtaposes nicely against Red Army. Another fine WWIII hypothetical.
This one is more of a ‘report’ and a political strategic assessment, which means it is awesome for developing an interesting set of circumstance for a campaign…JUST SAYING.
Now many of you have likely read this title. I never saw this back in the day. Perhaps it did not make it to Australia? Who knows. Perhaps I was chasing women or studying is more likely the case. In 1985 I had just switched Majors from Industrial Engineering to a Finance Degree. New campus, new people and the last days of my gaming life. Which ended around 1986.
Well all that is ancient history. Now with several simulation titles lined up I think the Fall of 2014 will be the beginning of a playing of all my WWIII titles. A fresh war. A New War.
Fear not we will continue our exploration of WWII, we have a lot of ground to cover and a load of titles to deal with and operations that made a huge impact to explore.
In 2014 I say from City Fight to Next War, lets have some fun!
